Clinical Trials

At Lake Norman Oncology, we are able to offer enrollment in a wide variety of clinical trials. Clinical trials help to answer whether a new drug or combination or drugs is effective for a particular disease. Offering trials allows us to present a broader range of treatment options to our patients, including drugs not available outside of a study. We enroll patients through our affiliation with the Center for Cancer Research at the Presbyterian Cancer Center.

Through this affiliation, we are able to enroll patients onto trials sponsored by the:

  • National Surgical Adjuvant Bowel and Breast Project
  • Southwest Oncology Group
  • Cancer and Leukemia Group B
  • Gynecologic Oncology Group
  • Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group
  • Duke Oncology Network
  • Radiation Therapy Oncology Group

MedicationsCurrently we have access to over 60 trials. The available trials change periodically. If you have any interest in participating in one of our trials, we encourage you to discuss this with us.
