Many already know Peggy Brantley, the practice administrator for Lake Norman Hematology Oncology Specialists, is very active in the fight against breast cancer. Breast cancer has touched her immediate family as well as many dear friends, Ms. Brantley explained.

In October, she plans to walk 39-miles in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer in Charlotte with a goal to raise $2,000. "I am honored to walk with thousands of others to help raise awareness and funding for this devastating disease, " Ms. Brantley said.
